Whati Access Road  (kilometre 0-12)

Current to the end of September

  • Single lane traffic.
  • Expect short delays.
  • Obey all warning signs, flag persons, traffic control devices and posted speed limits.
  • Work is planned from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Highway 3  (kilometre 242-332) and Rae Access Road (kilometre 0-10.5)

Current to the end of August

  • Single lane traffic.
  • Expect short delays.
  • Obey all warning signs, flag persons, traffic control devices and posted speed limits.
  • Work is planned from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Highway 3 

Current until further notice

  • Commercial vehicles with a gross weight greater then 63,500kgs and wider then 6.4m MUST submit a Pre-authorization request at minimum 4 working days prior to moving load.
  • Larger gross weights may require longer for independent evaluations.

Highway 3 (kilometre 24.4): Deh Cho Bridge 

Until further notice

  • Single lane traffic only, with traffic lights.
  • Expect short delays.
  • Obey all warning signs, flag persons, traffic control devices and posted speed limits.

Dene Village Road (kilometre 0.0-14.0): Kátł’odeeche First Nation, Hay River

Current until further notice

  • Reduced speed limit of 60 km/h.
  • Obey all warning signs and traffic control personnel.
  • Vehicles must drive cautiously.

Highway 1 (kilometre 411.2): Jean Marie River Bridge

Current until further notice

  • Single lane traffic only (alternating flow).
  • Drivers must yield to oncoming traffic.
  • Reduced speed limit of 40 km/h.
