The Liard River Crossing on Highway 1 near Fort Simpson is operating regular hours from 8:00 am to 12:00 midnight and is currently restricted to high clearance vehicles coming into Fort Simpson on the west bank.
Interruptions may occur and the ferry may have to shut down with little or no notice due to water levels or debris. Caution should be used on the landings and approaches, as they are slippery and soft.
